Camber for Khumo 215's

What is the current consensus of opinion on the optimal front camber to use with Khumo v70 215's?

 

(previous posts seem to suggest -2.5 deg, as per AO48's etc, but I want to double check befor egetting my car setup)

Chris, who/where do you get to set yours up? Not found anyone I trust yet and still may buy some budget kit to do my own.

I was planning to use TrackTorque at Tockwith who have a good reputation for setting up race cars annd for quality work. However... their availability is limited to mid-week when they are not away supporting their teams at race meetings.

 

So... I've bought a digital inclinometer (accurate to 0.1 deg) for doing the cambers and intend to try the 'square of string' approach for checking/adjusting tracking. It'll take a bit of work to setup this way, but apparantly (if done properly) it is very accurate and as used by some race teams.

 

I bought 4 x 200kg scales off ebay (@£10 ea ) and did the corner weighting, which went pretty well. I checked the scales when they arrived and they were all within 0.2kg so they were good and when i did the corner weighting I cross checked all the results by swapping scales around and also turning the car through 180deg to check if the floor wasn't flat enough. In the end all the readings matched up well within 1kg so job done.

Had mine done last month and front set to -1.5 and toe out 2. Rears are shimmed to -2 and give or take less than .5 degree, running straight.

Ah, yes Dave McF is the obvious choice . To be honest happy with spring/damper set up using the 15mm rake rule and 3 threads higher on drivers side. Just camber and track to check and tune.
