Won't go into first

Woops ! I've posted this on the wrong forum.

I've just replaced the clutch pressure plate, friction plate and thrust bearing on my X/Flow which has completely solved the slight problem I was experiencing of clutch judder. I'm having difficulty selecting first gear (4 speed) when the engine is hot - it's fine when cold. I've played around with the clutch bite point - no difference. Any ideas out there?

This is usually clutch drag but it can be worn synchros. If the box was reluctant getting into first with the old clutch, it may have had the damage done to the synchros then and if it is now marginal the problem will only show up when hot. You could try freshening up the gearbox oil with something like Redline MTL, or if (as it looks) heat is a problem MT90.
