O/T: Singer Vocalist Wanted

Serious post !!

 

Vocalist required for SomeOldGuise

 

We're a newly formed (last Dec) rock and blues covers band who require male or female vocalist to replace our original singer with a view to weekly rehearsals and couple of gigs a month around Surrey/Hants/Sussex area

 

Blokes all in our 40s (2 guitarists, bassist and drummer) all really up for it, good gear and good players into Blues / Clapton / Floyd/Zep / Who / Stones / U2 / Bonamassa /RHCP etc (but also happy to go off piste)

 

GSOH and reliability a prerequisite .....we've had an absolute nightmare with trying to find a decent singer and have been really pi**ed about by 2 'candidates' so we are NOT looking for someone who;

 

- can't sing

- always turns up late

- doesn't bother learning anything

- arrives 5 mins after their ego

- changes their mind every 5 mins about joining/not joining/set list

 

GRRRRRRR

 

So...if you can sing (you don't have to be Robert Plant but must have a decent voice and used to playing live), like a laugh and a joke but are also into putting some time in to craft a decent set and play some gigs with us then I'd be very interested to meet you.
