Thanks for that but he is selling a pair (at a rather higher price than I am prepared to go to) and I only need one.

 

No worries re carpet tiles. They are here in my office and aren't going anywhere.

 

I am off to Le Mans tomorrow so won't be back at work until next Tuesday.

I've a scruffy-ish one from an ex-race car. Usual scratches on the base and the carpet has worn on the outside, where it rubs against the side of the car (doesn't show when fitted). I don't think it has runners, but Midlands Wheels does them for under £20 a set

 

How does £150 sound?

 

I also have:

o excellent condition pair of standard Tilletts with runners/passenger ally bocks

o excellent pair of Oxted insert/pads

o very good pair of the original (in yellow) carbon/GRP Tilletts as fitted to the first R500s - same as here:

here

 

They are not as light as the carbon/kevlar seats, but MASSIVELY stiffer than either the GRP or kevlar versions..

 

I'll ge round to putting up a formal for-sale post soon as I've loads of other stuff to go - need to make some space in the garage/loft/shed!
