Please bear with me in responding to any questions and requests, SWMBO is about to give birth, so it's taking a bit longer than usual to get around to things.. Raceline 'short' bellhousing for Ford Duratec - sits the engine as far back as possible. Includes Raceline RH and LH engine mounts to suit- £180 Ford concentric clutch slave cylinder, aeroquip braided clutch hose with banjo fitting plus as-new clutch master-cylinder - £80 Brake reducing valve (Caterham part 19X066542R ) and various braided brake lines & fittings- £80 CatFlash Mk2 self-cancelling indicator system by Chris Wyles, plus documentation - £100 Ford Duratec 2.0 engine, built to Raceline 250BHP spec, hand checked and timed by Peter McKewen Raceline baffled wet sump including oil temperature sender New steel rods, new forged pistons and new rings used in build keywayed crankshaft New ARP big end bolts used in build New Vendervell bearings used in build Compression Ratio set at 12.75:1 High-port head hand-ported to R500 spec New Valve springs, retainers and oil seals used in build New Cosworth cam buckets used in build to set clearances Raceline cam tensioner modification incorporated Caterham R500 inlet and exhaust cams with verniers New, port-matched Jenvey 45mm direct-to-head throttle bodies, complete with throttle pot, Jenvey fuel rail and Jenvey throttle linkage New Bosch 0-280-155-968 'green' injectors, mounted in throttle bodies New Jenvey 15mm spacers and backplate with air temperature sensor New Jenvey 90mm spun aluminium trumpets two Pipercross PX600 domed airfilters New NGK spark plugs Ford coil pack New black Raceline aluminium water rail, including conning tower, pressure cap, blanking plugs, elbow and temperature sender New Raceline 'short' thermostat housing on block, fitted with 82 degree thermostat New Ford starter motor used in build New Raceline auluminium oil filter housing Raceline lightweight steel flywheel fitted with ARP bolts New AP Racing R500 clutch plate New Raceline low-profile 'Duratec-R' camcover, powdercoated black by Ferrari paintshop New Raceline lightweight alternator, pulley and inlet-side mounting bracket New Raceline idler pulley and belt The engine has been run in for 3 hours on mineral oil, following which it was stripped , checked and re-assembled by Raceline for peace of mind. Engine is ready to go. To have Raceline supply the engine in this spec at current prices would cost £8,270 ex VAT, less the crank keyway work, senders or cam cover (around £450) £5,100 There's more to come: watch this space! Just need to assure myself it is a direct replacment for the S3 std prop as will be used with a Quaife 60G.... Gary: the propshaft should definitely swap for the standard propshaft in an S3, mated to a 60G. That's exactly how it was configured for a month or so I'll be including the micro-relays and my wiring diagrams in case they're of any use with the Savage switches. Garibaldi Posted June 4, 2010 Share Posted June 4, 2010 Darren I have a good I idea of what I want to do with the Savage switch gear but the relays and certainly the wiring diagrams would all be a big help.... You can never have enough information when it comes to electrickery.... I deliberated for 5-6 mins before replying to you’re add and lost out on a couple of the other bits I was interested in...
