Garth
Just filled up my 5 speed gearbox - what fun! - and it only took about 1.2l before it was pouring out ot the side of the filler hole! Car is level! The handbook says the gearbox should hold 1.9l? Any advice appreciated - hoping to fire her up today! Thanks atlast
Stationary M25 Traveller
Is this a first fill, or a drain and refill ? If the latter, sounds right.

7 wonders of the world
Seem to remember the type 9 boxes have slightly different capacities depending on the origin of the box ie normal Sierra or V6 version. Take it a run and recheck on level ground when cold. Too young to be old !
Garth
Thanks for the comments. It was a first fill. Will run it a while and then try and get a bit more in! atlast
