Heskyboy
My tonneau has pulled one of the fastners out of the side panel. ☹️ Is it possible to get one back in without taking all the inside panelling out?
scooby dooby doo
if i understand you right then the solution is just to rivet in a new fastener. should take about 5 minutes (drill out the remains of the old one, then rivit in a new one) HOOPY CYCLE WINGS CUCUMBER
Heskyboy
Thanks hoopy, It sounds far to easy for a seven, wont I even graze my knuckles 🤔 I guess I will need a special tool only purchaseable from caterham though.
scooby dooby doo
the fastener will be easiest from Caterham although it looks pretty standard. a rivet gun will come from any decent tool shop (eg machine mart) for 10 quid upwards. 10 quid ones seem to last long enough to do 20 rivets. my 20 quid one from machine mart lasted about 3 times as long. still looking for a robust one.... could always nick my dad''s 30 year old one....
