CaterBram
I didn't manage to copy down all the time's and final results, but I managed a 1st Place in Class 2 😬, OK it was only a small field in class 2 this time (2 of us) but both evenly matched and it was a close battle. A great shame that more from the L7C did not compete. A great event and a great group of people organising it, I hope it becomes a permanent fixture in the L7C calender Q469 WET, 1990 1690 Xflow Long Cockpit in Ali except for the red bits. .CaterBram on Facebook
robmar
congrats on class win you can only beat who you are up against I would have happily traded a nice hillclimb for being stuck at home painting walls and building shed bases ☹️ rob

Adrian Williams
Congratulations on your first win Chris It was a fantastic setting for what was a well run, relaxed and friendly event, a fast course which had a lovely 'flow' about it other than the last corner which took me by surprise every time. CaterBram
😳Cheer's Adrian, Got to say out of all the event's so far, I actually enjoyed it most as there was someone at a similar pace to complete against. Still way slower than the class 1 boy's so alot of work still to do ... FlymoFraser
Simon I'm quite proud of that photo! 😬 I have a similar photo of me in a Sunbeam Stilletto in a very similar pose not far from there 25 years ago (I was in the passenger seat that time) Caterhams, Imps , but a Mini..........pleeeeease. Must have been Mr Calvert 😬 Must say it was a cracking day, almost 300 miles on the car in one day and the trog back was wonderful, the first bit trogging along with Alan (no longer King of the Hill) Johnson and the 2nd bit with one of the TVRs who also came from round here. TVR V6 (?) and screaming K series in tandem made every roundabout an aural delight Definitly be back there although I wonder what it is like in the rain! CaterBram
A few people asked me if i'd update the unofficial "scores on the board" once the Epynt time's were out. McTaff has kindly agreed to email them accross once they land which hopefully will be tonight. Once they land i'll update and shoot the revised overall, class, novice & ladies scores up. however I have been warned that I might be suckering myself for a job next year. 😳 Q469 WET, 1990 1690 Xflow Long Cockpit in Ali except for the red bits. .CaterBram on Facebook
robmar
Well if Mr McTaff could send them over to the official scorer as well I will get them published officially... mrl98
Dear all. For next year, I can reccomend the camp site next to the red kite feeding centre. Great road in the middle of nowhere! facilities are a drinking water tap and a bin. Although Dan claims to have found a toilet. Tenner for 2 sharing a tent and car. Directions: Turn off following the sign for camping and the dam in Trecastle. Don't turn where the sign points to the dam only. You've reached your destination when the sign points to the youth hostel (doesn't seem to be a youth hostel on the road it poins to) 10 miles of really fantastic, desolate, single track road in the most remote part of england or wales I've ever been to. A cracking beginning to the weekend.... and 10 times as long as the course :o) http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode=&q=771+265+llanddeusant&sll=51.835565,-3.655014&sspn=0.09589,0.308647&ie=UTF8&hq=771+265&hnear=Llanddeusant,+Llangadog,+Dyfed,+United+Kingdom&ll=51.917174,-3.785584&spn=0.002991,0.009645&t=h&z=17 btw. does anyone have photos of the weekend?
