Nick T
Hi Tried that, none in stock and no idea when they will get some in. Cheers
Molecular--Bob
Found these on flea bay here. Look a bit like the Cometic style gasket so may be ok. Scholar may also be able to help, as they build Formula Ford crossflows.
Nick T
Thanks, at that price might be worth a go. I will also contact Scholar
DaveMorris
Nick, I might have a set (or two) lurking somewhere in the garage or shed (though can't be bothered to check right now .. .. but if Burtons large bore ones keep blowing I would recommend checking the flatness of your flanges, or chewcking to see if the securing bolts are bottoming out before the gasket is fully nipped, I tried the copper ones , then had the flanges machined and now use the normal Burtons type gaskets, Dave
Nick T
Hi Dave, I will check the flatness of the flanges next time I change the gasket. The bolts are not bottoming out as I have run a tap right through. If you have got any copper ones (well the centre on really) hiding in the shed I would appreciate you having a look. DaveMorris
One set of (used, but perfectly serviceable) copper exhaust gaskets found. Will take them in to work tomorrow. Give me a call on 01978 xxxxxx sometime during the day and I'll get them in the post to you, DAve. Edited by - DaveMorris on 4 Jun 2010 23:31:
