greg
Dear All, I've a 1990/3 Chassis (a 1990 that got rechassised in '93) and am interested in the wide track conversion, but it seems to say 1996 on. Can this be (cheaply) made to fit a 1990/3 chassis? Will my Bilstein Race Dampers fit? I assume I need spacers. What else is envovled? Any info appreciated! Tonycaterham
Live axle or de-dion? If Live axle then it can be done but will need in additional items such as the uprights(read non Triumph Trunion) which are about £90 each. Will also require front pivot brackets for top wishbones. total cost including wide track will be in the order of £600 fitting it yourself. An added benefit is that you will get adustable top wishbones. This can be done on a std track car if you want details. When I approached Caterham about prices they basically said why bother on a LA car , well I like my car???!!! Regards Tony 😬
EFA
My car is a '93 chassis. Wide track just bolts on, except you do not get the "anti-dive" geometry which is of questionable use anyway.
