Ade Ray
Ordered some replacement pads for Katie some time ago. I dont have anything special fitted in the way of calipers, Katie is a standard spec ex-scholarship car. Ordered the pads for the standard calipers from Caterham. When they arrived they seemed the right size and shape. Came to fit them today and I find that they are 2mm taller than the pads that came out and they definately wont go in. Have I asked for the wrong bits 🤔 or am I expected to furtle a bit to get them in 🤔 (I wouldnt have thought so) or are there more than one sort of standard brake caliper/pad 🤔 If some one could make sense of this I would be a happy chappy Ade Make the world a better place, hug an estate agent
felix.klauser
I've often filed off a bit to get them to fit. Should be fine so long as the the fixing pin holes are in the right place.
