R300 R400 R500 type Primaries

Does anyone have the primaries for the k series'd R300/R400/R500 up for grabs?

 

I've got the Caterham long can and collector ready to go I just need the matching primaries to get this baby attached to the car!

Assuming you are talking about Rover Ks ....

I believe R300/400s were not the same as R500s.

The 300/400 used the SLR exhaust system whereas the R500 had it's own with larger diameter primaries and a larger exhaust inlet (2.5" compared to 2" )

 

Assuming you have an SLR exhaust system I could well be interested in doing a deal with you since I have a collector and can for an R500 that will not fit my R400 (SLR) primaries and so will need to purchase new.

I bought the primaries and 4-2-1 collector new because the ones that came with my engine were dented.

 

I would be looking for a reasonable proportion of the new price because I obviously need to buy replacements.

Morning Nifty

 

It is indeed the 2.5" primaries for the rover k series i'm after.

 

On the r300, 400 and 500 sizing thing - The 2.5" primaries were fitted to my last r400 which I bought new? and the can and collector i've got ready to go on this 7 came off an r300?! could have been an option or something

As discussed before the road cars shared exhaust with the R500. The RACE cars shared exhaust with the SLR.
