It's a 1999 'V' which I personally imported [and drove back ] from Berlin, so it is LHD. Bad bits Needs a damn good dusting/valet because it's been stored n/s door glass broken scratch on paintwork [can't remember exactly where, but it's about 6 inches long] Main problem is the smoke from exhaust and power delivery is up and down - this seemed to get worse over several hundred miles and then I got a new car, so I put the TT in the back of the garage and forgot all about it. My mate reckons it could be the turbo, but I didn't want to shell out on getting one fitted only to find out it wasn't, so I haven't bothered with it.
