Forged Pistons to Suit X/Flow.

After my recent engine failure looking at upgrading to forged pistons.

 

Does anyone have a spare set of 83.5mm or 84.0mm ?

 

Q469 WET, 1990 1690 Xflow Long Cockpit in Ali except for the red bits.

We are doing Yorkshire 3 Peaks in aid of Rotherham Hospice

I have a set of secondhand 83.5mm Accrulite pistons available, however this bore would put you in Class Two. I also have a set of secondhand Hepolite +60thou which would allow you to stay in Class One I think. I'll bring them all to Llandow / Curbs / MIRA if you want a look at them.

I'm already in class 2 with +90 thou cast pistons, which i've just melted and replaced one.

 

So the 83.5mm Accrulite definatly are tempting .

Just checked on my Calc's

 

I've currently got cast +90's fitted on sloppy bores and the 83.5mm are +99's.

 

so should be able to get all 4 bore's honed out nicely to the correct clearances.

 

We can have a look and discuss at Llandow.
