Frying Pan
Sorry to hear you are having to withdraw from the Academy ☹️ Intrigues as to what the 'HANS posts' are for? I hadn't realised there was any thing on the car itself for HANS - obviously the helmet has to have mounting posts on, but what is on the car? jp7
Hi 7heavensoon, the standard shoulder belt mounting points are too far apart for use with a HANS device, in an accident the straps would slip off the sides and the system wouldnt work. I had an enjoyable couple of hours at Arch whilst they drilled and brazed in some more threaded lugs closer to the centre line of the seat. They are real craftsmen, you cant tell they were put in later. So the car has both mounts now. cheers Andy
Roger Ford
Keep the car, and come race it in the Grads when your foot is better! Did you get through the ARDS test?
