Area Representative Steve Wright Posted April 23, 2010 Area Representative Share Posted April 23, 2010 Hi Mark Is this the car that used to belong to Jim Brookes? If so, it's a stunner! In fact it's so good I'm tempted to replace mine........ visit Carrotland.co.uk
Mark_P
Yes, this is Jim's old 7 - I bought it from him nearly 7 years ago. I have added an engine bay photo on the Pistonheads ads........
Mark_P
OOOOPS Just read through Jim Brookes notes on my 7 - he notes that the engine is street ported to 215bhp not the 160 bhp I have posted on the title bar....thought it was quick! Badger Bill
What is wrong here It is a well known, good looking car, with some nice recent parts, that looks great, will go like the clappers and is priced to sell, yet no-one has put their hand in their pocket I just don't get it. Were I in a position to buy, I'd be ripping your arm off! ❗ Good luck with the sale. BB
6speedmanual
I agree with with BB Interesting car, just I'm not planning to change my 7 at this time either. Nice different style of 7. Rotary engines have their own fascination. If really 215bhp would be very fast. Great value for any 7 at the price. Looks absolutely classic in Ali/black. Got to be worth a look for someone. Rob Morris
Clams are GREAT also far better in rain and less chippings on rear wings. Look from front is SO cool........side 50:50 with cycles, ability to place front wheels just as good with either wings (if you can't then then you really should consider not Car sounds and looks fantastic, if I had not spent up on Porsche I would be tempted
Mark_P
Interesting about the clams comments........this is my 3rd Seven, but the first with clams. I have had it for 7 years and I don't even think about the 'clams' issue. However, when I bought it I have to admit it did make me think twice......now the car is 20 years old it kind of goes with the 'retro-look'. Anyway, I am still selling and if someone is after a honest 7, let me know. Mark
