Used to keep the sun off etc crossing Arizona and Nevada - worked well. Amazingly helps to keep the cockpit area dry in inclement weather too. My guess is that it would of course clip to a screen and be put under tension if fitted to an FIA bar equipped car, but it will probably flap and reverberate when you start to move as there will inevitably be bits that are not properly tensioned or smooth.
