shn7 Posted August 19, 2002 Share Posted August 19, 2002 Mike, For the Academy last year I got Caterham to make up a loop connector to disable the inertia switch. Whilst testing at Brands I ran wide over the kerbs exiting Graham Hill bend and it cut out!!!! If that had been in the race it would have been all over. I could send the said connector (pretty sure I still have it in the garage) F.O.C. if you're interested. No use to me know as I've sold the car. On track the marshalls should be on the case quickly to turn off, extinguish etc. On the road I think it would be a good idea to have one. You could be in a ditch for a long time before help came esp with high pressure injection pumps running.... A by pass as you suggest Steve would be essential.
