Camber Gauge to borrow

Make one -I did...

A bit of 2by1, with round-head screws set to match the wheel rim (screwed into smaller face).

Add drop weight running down the face of the wood level with top screw on a string.

Use a protractor to set 1deg (and sub) marks level witht the drop weight where the string meets it.

Use a spirit level to calibtrate the settings by turning the screws in/out.

Place on rim and read degrees.

Simples 😬

Andrew, Eugene, thanks very much for the offers, advice, all sorted now thanks, a very nice Westfield owner got in touch and it's all done. Also borrowed his alignment tool but couldnt fit the electronic scales in the car 😳

Eugene, it took me three goes to get my Maths O level, if I used my maths, I'm not sure my wheels would be pointing in the same direction at the end of it 😬 Far safer with a guage. In any event, the alignment tool proved to be more valuable as the camber was about what I expected but the alignment was way out at 3 deg pos!!
