SteveCC
My Alternator Tensioner on my K Series R300 has snapped into 2 pieces and sod's law the Caterham Parts department is closed for the bank holiday. Does anyone know if this item here is a standard Rover part and where I might be able to buy one today in the Surrey area? Thanks Steve
Stationary M25 Traveller
Can you get an exhaust place to weld it back together ?
ric355
Looking at this parts diagram for an MGF/TF it looks as though it is a standard part. Although the image in the parts list further down isn't quite the same shape.
Area Representative Paul Richards Posted April 3, 2010 Area Representative Share Posted April 3, 2010 Rover part. I got a spare off a metro at a scrapyard - usually open on weekends. SteveCC
Thanks all for the replies, suggestions Part number is the same for the MGF/TF (thanks ric355) as the Caterham Part Number: YLX100140 and it seems it’s used for various other Rover cars including the Metro. I’ve been working the phone for the last hour or so speaking to the local scrapyards, auto parts departments and local garages that can weld and no luck for getting anything today. I think I’ll have to admit defeat and try and get it sorted during the week in time for Wight Blat Steve
