nigelpugh
That was me!! It was a nice day when I set off this morning to High Wycombe, the sun shone all the way. Then I had to go across country to Newbury, and it went down hill from there!! I was forced to put the roof up due to hail, light snow, then torrential rain!! Then I had to endure hours of tail backs on the A34, M40 and M42 I can confirm that a Duratec R500 with sequntilal box is no fun on such a journey!! Cookie Monster
I thought it might have been as I knew you had such a car. The jam north was awful - Citroen Zantia that had caught fire Phil.
nigelpugh
Phil, Yes it was one of those days for probs!! I got caught on the A34 coming from Newbury, then the problem on the M40, which I went via Anyho on the A41 to avoid, and then closer to home after I got back on the M40 further North,a long tail back from J15 to J16 by the M42. All in all the journey that normally takes me 1 hour 45 took me almost 4 hours!! An it snowed, hailed and rained for most of the return trip too!! Should have stayed at home!!
