Martin J
Here's something different. While filling the van up with fuel in Sevenoaks a red 59 plate S3 pulls in to the next pump. A large bundle of wires is coming out from under the nearside of the bonnet & feeds into the passenger side of the car under the sidescreen. I had to go & ask. Turns out it was a guy who works for Quaife & the car is full of sensors to measure pretty much everything with data logging in the car. The car had the 210hp Duratec engine but Avon ZV3 tyres I suggested he took it easy if it started to rain!! 😬
shn7
Testing traction control perhaps 😬 Steve. Not forgetting Percy the Polar Bear who recommends Puddle Pet Care
Martin J
With a wet road 210hp & ZV3 tyres I think you would need it! That & possibly clean underpants It was quite a loom that was draped around the outside of the car, would be interesting to know just what they were measuring but it's probably all hush hush
myothercarsa2cv
So much ZV3 bashing... I'm a big advocate, as they're freeeeeeee 😬 And hell, you shouldn't be driving like a hooligan on the road now, Martin John _________________________ myothercarsa2cv Bugsy: '82 2cv6 😬 Talloulah '08 1.6K Classic
