hillclimber Posted March 16, 2010 Share Posted March 16, 2010 Hi there I've had mixed answers to this question so far so I thought i'd try here! Does anyone know if it's possible to fit a full screen to a 7 with the SLR full cage? I'm sure i've seen one in the past - can anyone help? A full screen and wipers are needed to be eligable for the roadgoing classes but as it is mine has the SLR cage and a JPE screen - HELP!! I don't want to have to swap the cage as its my favourite full cage for a 7 it's also got plenty of clearance for my helmet Any helps much appreciated Simon Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There is a problem if you also want to fit the full doors, I have seen small brackets fixed to the cage to hang the door off. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

hillclimber Posted March 16, 2010 Author Share Posted March 16, 2010 Thats music to my ears chaps Does anyone know if it'd need any modification or can I just get a screen, retaining channels and stanchions and just bolt them on? This car's new to me (was tony's L7EVL) I'm starting off the year in the mod prods, but the cars not really geared up to be competitive in that class - i've got road going 1B's going on there and it's road legalish in every other way just lacking the screen to be eligable - it's a choice of big money on avon soft slicks (I thought I had a set in stock to start the year but they're all too wide!!) or hopefully some fannying about in the garage with a drill and a screen!!
