edmandsd
Don't Caterham do a carbon rear view mirror ? - I don't think it's the Spa one because the pillar's a fair bit shorter. Anyone know who makes these. Are they convex glass ?
Paul Bowden
Mine came with my SL kit and has Spa on the box.It is flat, although the box indicated there was a choice, I was not offered that choice. The pillar takes it just above the R500 carbon wind deflector Edited by - paul bowden on 16 Aug 2002 20:31:
scooby dooby doo
spa do a nice centre one. but the carbon one is no lighter than the palstic one. you may need to cut down the stay a bit though. HOOPY CYCLE WINGS CUCUMBER

c7kjt
If anyone's interested I've got a 4cm (total height) SPA centre mirror mount, as supplied by them, surplus to requirements. Kevin Thomas kevin.thomas@bigfoot.com www.7gallery.co.uk
murph7355
It used to be (with both Spa and Racetech) that the carbon housings only came with flat plastic "glass". The plastic ones could be had with convex proper glass. The plastic lenses are notoriously crap. The carbon ones look nice though, even if they are no lighter (too small for it to be noticeble I guess.
scooby dooby doo
i found a flat centre mirror and convex outer mirrors works really well. The centre mirror easily shows the whole space between the tillets as it is. a convex one might be good if i had a pretty girly i in the passenger seat i wanted to serruptisciously stare at though....
