Complete Duratec 2.3 install...

Posted on behalf of a mate in the Westfield club, Terry used this very successfully in the club Speed Series in his Westfield but has now upgraded to a full 2.5 Millington Diamond engine package for this year so :-

 

For sale - new 2.3litre engine built and developed by Neil Brown engineering and has been very successful over the last 2 seasons setting several class records in my slick shod westfield. Sprint/hillclimb running time year approx 60 mins since last service. selling complete package including full dry sump system/pipes etc, remote filter and laminova oil cooler. EFI Euro 1 engine management, sensors and loom. Has genuine 283bhp with 212 ft lbs of torque (dyno print available) Uses Mobil 1 oil and changed every 3 events and has been totally reliable.

 

Stroked crank with 87.75mm bore Kent race cams and race valve springs, arrow steel crank and rods, high performance bosch injectors on jenvey throttle bodies with carbon trumpets, fuel rail, throttle linkage, lightened/balanced flywheel with twin plate AP clutch and bellhousing for type 9/type E box with hydraulic clutch fittings.

 

Also includes new brise alternator, coil pack and leads, spare plugs, solid engine mounting cradles and special 4:2:1 exhaust manifold with lamda sensor. Several spares included (coil pack, plugs, leads, pulley belts etc)

This package would now cost in excess of £25,000. Suitable for Westfields ,Caterhams, kit car or Escort Rally car. Was sold twice but 'buyers' did not turn up Grab a bargain at REDUCED PRICE OF £8000 ono.
