Bench mounted Pillar drill

I advertised in wanted for one of these last week and was eventually offered a "job lot" which included 2 drills and a couple of bench grinders.

 

I only want one drill so I'll offer this at what I think was cost to me.

 

Its a Nu-Tool 5 speed single phase bench mounted drill.

 

1/3rd HP motor with 1/2" chuck. It has depth stop and a spring loaded guard..........guy had lost the perspex from it but it just needs a piece of bendy clear plastic slotting back in.

 

There is very light surface rust on bed which I'll WD40 off but the drill itself looks hardly used and in lovely ,clean and great working condition.

 

Yours for 35 quid if it's of any use.

I'll take a pic if you are interested.

Obviously it's a heavy-ish little fella so pick up is best.

I am just building a workshop for my son and he has the following question :-

 

What is the maximum depth between the bottom of the chuck and the top of the table?

 

Could you BM a piccy ?

 

If it has enough depth can we have first dibs and GONADS it please.

It is just over 6" from chuck to bed.
