I am looking for some of your collective wisdom for my class 1 sprint championship compliant mod 😶‍🌫️

In the pursuit of more power I have added a 52mm TB, and 4/1 primaries, however as i need the CAT I am intending to put 4/1 primaries into a standard 4/1 collector and then into my standard academy can [which has a CAT],

firstly do you think it a good idea to weld said collector directly to the inlet pipe of the standard exhaust?, thereby making a nice neat system, or would that be too rigid?

if i was going to introduce a joint how would i do it, given the OD of both the outlet of the collector and the inlet of the std exhaust are the same [57mm ish]

would completed exhaust impede the power advantage gained from the 52 Tb and the 4/1 primaries and would it be quiet enough?

Finally, if all OK does anyone know of a good exhaust welder / amender in the Chesterfield area, as I would want it to look better than the Spire 😬 😬 😬

Thanking you in advance for your wise words 😶‍🌫️ 😶‍🌫️ 😶‍🌫️

Novice sprinter [still] and even more novice mechanic!!!

Pete

I plan to live for ever...so far so good!!!
