7 wonders of the world
Duratec POBC Looking for advice on which fuel rail people have used o a 2.0 Duratec in an S3 running on Raceline TB's. I'm looking to use R500 green injectors and was looking to use a dead end rail. 1-has any one used a small bore dead end rail on a higher output engine? any heat sink problems? 2-which rail have you used? 3-is there sufficient clearence to use the green injectors with the normal Pipercross filter and backplate - possible by dropping the bckplate down 10-20mm to clear the injectors and underside of the bonnet? Thanks in advance Too young to be old !
Jason Plato
I used pico injectors to aid clearance with an adjustable fuel rail from jenvey. (centers are the same as a k series !) or you could put spacers behind the filter backplate to get clearance when using longer injectors. here is my Duratec R .... rgrigsby
Slightly different as mines a 2.3l but I'm on a Raceline TB's, a Jenvey fuel rail and pico injectors as well, it's certainly very tight but it all fits just. Cheers Rob G

Paul Deslandes
Dave, which flow rate Pico injectors did you go with?
Rob Walker
If you want to run with the ford dead end fuel rail and the green bosch injectors then this needs to be mounted in the head. If you want to moun this on the TB`s then you will have to use the jenvey fuel rail along with spacers and an offset airfilter backplate or use the short 330 picos as others have posted. Buy Picos direct from Webcon. Rob
Molecular--Bob
Are these just rebranded PIco injectors? here if they are then they are cheap, especially as there are some 10% off vouchers floating around. You could probably buy a set, ebay the other 4 and get your 4 for less than £100.00 all in.
7 wonders of the world
Dave, With the Pico set up are you using a standard flat filter back plate or the dished Jenvey / Caterham version cheers, Too young to be old !

Pendennis
I think these Pico injectors can come in a higher flow rate than 330cc whilst at the same physical size, because I am sure my Pico's are circa 400cc Want to rent an 18th century Farmhouse in Rural Somerset?
