15" to 13"

How much will my sump drop if I change to 13" wheels from the 15"s I'm on now? Both are on CR500s. Ta.

From Avon website looking at fronts

195/45 R15 - 554mm Diameter

175/55 R13 - 527mm diameter

 

Difference is 27mm so height should drop by 13.5mm

 

Call it half an inch in old money

 

Just noticed that 205/55 R13 is 554mm so exactly the same as 195/45 R15

This is a very useful 'site'here. I have the same 15" wheels and tyres as you have but I bought a set of 13" wheels with 185/60 AO21R's (for winter use). The difference in overall diameter was only 4mm and even on your dreadful roads this should be acceptable. 😬

Or raise the ride height when you change assuming you have adjustable dampers.
