Doug Posted January 28, 2010 Share Posted January 28, 2010 I was sent the following as a general guide: - Torque settings ¼ UNF/UNC or M6 3-5 lb/ft (7/16 AF or 10mm spanner) 5/16 UNF/UNC or M8 12-15 lb/ft (1/2 or 13mm spanner) 3/8 UNF/UNC or M10 20-25 lb/ft (9/16 or 17mm spanner) 7/16 UNF 30-35 lb/ft (5/8 or 11/16 spanner) ½ UNF or M12 40-45 lb/ft (3/4 or 19mm spanner) Always in combination with loctite or nylock nuts. Paul Deslandes Posted January 28, 2010 Share Posted January 28, 2010 The stub axle nut which also holds the wing stay in place is 60 - 65 lbft. Steering arm to upright is 22 - 27 lbft. All these figures should be in the build manual which is available for download on-line somewhere. If you can't find it blatmail me your email address mand I'll send you a pdf copy.
