clarkey
Due to timewaster (only joking Alex!) tonneau and doors are available again. Gordon, Arnie, how much do you offer for the doors? Greg, much much do you offer for the tonneau? Thanks.

Powderpuff
Clarkey, I'd have expected Greg and I to split the cost so you still got the same amount....but if you've already sold them it's a bit late ☹️ Gordon Edited by - powder puff on 15 Aug 2002 14:01:

I reply to every thread
There's a Tonneau on Ebay - I suspect it may be an Eddie White special.
philwaters
Greg, try one of the race teams. I contacted Ratrace and got a live axle, long cotpit one that was better than the one I had, for very reasonable money (I cut it up to make half height doors - all up cost of £32). He had one spare, but I think they have been sold now. But try Hyperion, et al.... greg
Thanks for the suggestions, but I was after a tillet tonneau. However I still have an used normal tonneau (and as yet no popers in the scuttle and no tillets) so I think I'll convert my own when I get the tillets. Thanks again. lrem
Hi Greg, I've got a tonneau suitable for Tillets and 1/2 doors (also sent you an email yesterday) - please let me know if you're interested. Cheers, Lionel
Al Crickmore
lionelr. I assume this stuff is used? I'm interested if they are. How much do you want? Yellow/Carbon SL No.
KevSull Too
Greg, If you find a tonneau for the tillets do you want to off load your standard? Kev. 😬You laugh at me because I'm different, I laugh at you because you're all the same. 😬
lrem
Hi Al, Sorry if my previous message was been a bit misleading - I've only got the tonneau available, and it's for use with 1/2 doors and (I assume) Tillets since there's no pockets for headrests. There's also an opening for a petty strut, and it's in excellent condition. As per Jon B's ad in For Sale a couple of weeks ago - I've decided to sell it as I won't be going with 1/2 doors in the foreseeable. Cheers, Lionel
Mark Piper
Don't all Tillets come with moulded in headrest as standard?....ergo a tonneau without the pockets isn't going to fit Tillets?....
lrem
I thought that tonneau's with the additional pockets were for storing the detachable headrests from cloth/leather seats!?
rgrigsby
There are two different types of tillet seat, the ones with the high back ie R500 ones which require the tonneau with pockets in and the original low back ones that Caterham used to supply with Superlights/SLR's By the sound of it this is a tonneau for the original low backed seats ie no pockets in the hood. lrem
Rob's right - mine's the type for Tillets without an integral headrest, off an SLR. Al/Greg - there's another tonneau for sale on eBay which might be what you're after: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1756872020
greg
lionelr, I need the ones with the ears, but I also need the Tillets with head rests (I do not have the seats yet)! KevSull. I'll let know know, but I may keep mine and get it converted as it Jill Judd (the lady who advertises in Low Flying) does an excellent job. Mark Piper
I'd like the Tillets...the tonneau can wait! Didn't know they did "low back" Tillets...you learn something new every day!
