JamesA Posted August 11, 2002 Share Posted August 11, 2002 I have a new SV with uprated brakes and was trying to install the front pads today but the cycle wing stay is exactly centered with the upper pad retainer pin. There seems to be no way the pin can go in without loosening the two bolts holding the cycle wing stay and moving it. I do have the newer of the front uprated brakes. Am I missing something or do I have to loosen the wing stays every time I want to change brake pads? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Anthony Posted August 12, 2002 Share Posted August 12, 2002 James, on mine (latest spec ) un-bolt to fixing and losen lower fixing Swing caliper down and fit pit Refit upper bolt + lock-tight. Remove lower bolt and lock tight. Regards Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
