Area Representative Richard Price Posted January 11, 2010 Area Representative Share Posted January 11, 2010 I've just bought a new dry sump pan to replace my old leaking one ☹️ My original pan does not have a drain plug, but the new one does have a drilling for a plug, but have not supplied a plug with the sump. CC advise that the require plug is a tapered 1/2BSP plug, but the hole in the sump measures M20X1.5. I suspect that the plug that I require is the same as the diff filler plug here. Can anyone confirm this 🤔
prs
I have the CC dry sump pan and your right in thinking its the diff filler plug shown. I've just looked as my engine is sitting on the dining room table!!
Team Escargot
Richard Just fitted one myself You are correct (also I think its a standard Ford part) with the 'O' ring not a tappered plug Regards Nick
