naddy
Are there any gotchas in getting one of these? ... Is this gasket a boggo rover part that I expect I can source locally when places are open tomorrow, or does it need to be the CC one? Area Representative Paul Richards Posted December 28, 2009 Area Representative Share Posted December 28, 2009 Nick Think it's a standard Rover part. I have a usable second hand one if you want one today. Paul Richards Area Representative - L.A.D.S. oilyhands
There are two types, the composite type with steel rings round the ports and the two layer stainless steel. If you have an exhaust manifold with a single piece flange then the 2-layer SS gakset is best, if you have a multi branch manifold with separate flanges then the composite type works best. Both are standard Rover parts. Oily
naddy
Thanks Paul, I have a used one that looks okay but since I'm fitting a different exhaust I thought a new one would be sensible. Thanks Oily, It's VHPD primaries so I think it's a LKG100300 that I need
