petefoster
*wavey*Anyone know the code which is on the 52mm Dellorto throttle body, my car is an ex academy and it has an aluminium TB with "TV1 T005 0265, MHB 000080" on one flange and "Dellorto TV" on another. Anbody know if this is a 52 or a 48? Also, where would the best place to get a upgraded exhaust be? and the million dollar question, 4 into 1or 4 into 2 into 1? Any contribution to my ongoing education would be gratefully recieved!!! *thumbup*
oilyhands
A 52 will have MHB 000261 on the top flange and '52' in a circle half way down the flange at the TPS side. Yours is a 48mm. To confirm it, remove the air filter, have a look at the throttle plate, if it has an ally wedge on the lower half it is a 48mm. 4-2-1, these give a worthwhile boost to the mid range where the engine spends most of it's time. petefoster
Cheers Oily *thumbup* Where is the best place to get a 52 TB from?
oilyhands
I keep them in stock, but to be honest the main benefit is the improvement in throttle response. You can modify your existing TB to give a very similar result by removing the ally wedge and soldering up the holes. Oily
