Bilstein Adjustable Dampers (Wide Track)

Dutchy

Recommended Posts

A set of Bilstein Adjustable Dampers - M0, wide track (road use).

I'm not sure what the spring rating is!

Previously fitted to a SLR (early 2000), still in good condition.

They've been sat in my garage for nearly 3 yrs and I've never used them, time to clear out!

How does £150 inc P&P sound?

Open to offers for these, need the space in the garage *wavey*

1st dibs claims, not BM!

Thanks

Steve

Is the set all round or just the front?

I may be interested, but I don't have the car yet (bear with me).

I have my eye on a 1995 HPC, but it doesn't have adjustable dampers.

I need to check on compatibility. Do you have any further detail that would aid this process?

Thanks, Rob.

Rob,

If the car that you are looking at is a 95 car, then these dampers won't fit the car.

There was a change to suspension geometry around 96.

Earlier cars have the top fixing for the front dampers on the same axis as the top wishbone, where later cars use longer dampers and the fixing is higher up.

There are also different length rear dampers, earlier cars have a fixing through the center of the dedion tube, and later cars have an underslung boss, and longer dampers.

Additionally, the VX is a big heavy lump in comparison to the K series, and is likely to require stiffer springs. However, if you were to fit stiffer springs to these M0 dampers, then they would be under damped.

If they are available and will fit my 1997 1.6K SuperSport - then I'm very interested as my Leda suspension have seen better days.
