guilleracing
I am looking for a set of sidedraughts that are at the end of their service life. I have been comissioned to build up a fake racing engine. I need some carbs for the look of them only. They will get vapour blasted so condition is unimportant. They won't be ever running an engine some a pair of 40s that are knackered and only worth scrap value are what I am after. Anyone able to help out? Thanks. Greg. myothercarsa2cv
I've got an old 2CV solex 28/35 twin choke knocking about (in pieces), not a side draught, but you're welcome to it? guilleracing
Thank you for the very kind offer. The client is a shop selling tuning parts so we really need to make up an engine that looks like the real thing. I will pass on the 2 CV carb but thank you again, Greg. Paul Deslandes
is this going into the orange peril at St Goueno next year Greg? 😬
guilleracing
Hi Paul, No, the orange thing is receiving a Dry sumped K8 GSXR 1000 Suzuki. I am waiting for the wiring loom to come back. It has been to a specialist from the DSR series in America for some improvements. I'm hoping to do a One Minute forty seconds if it is dry for the event! Some hope! Greg. Paul Deslandes
Apparently they're cutting down a lot more of the trees so at least we'll be able to see what we're about to hit! Good luck with your engine bits. Paul
guilleracing
Hi Paul, I have an eyesight defect that means my vision can not deal with light to dark and back. I need a long time to be able to see where I am going under tree cover! If they are cutting down more trees, I will be able to see where I am going! Oh My Goodness Vision! What luxury! He He I can't wait. 😬 Greg.
