Joachim Westermann
@hoopy That is the thing why I build the Noses. 700 for a noese for racing http://www.mog-racing.de/Carbon/Teile/wide/cycle1.JPG http://www.mog-racing.de/Carbon/Teile/wide/compi2.JPG http://www.mog-racing.de/Bilder/Friends/Giusep/Giusep18.jpg http://www.mog-racing.de/Bilder/Friends/Giusep/Giusep19.jpg On pictures the waeve looks not so good as in reality. I have noses there in Brands. @Aves Please stop talking about Gemany and England. I feel Europe! Don´t forget. If me or Never write in English language - not all comes in the right ears. It is not easy with our simple english explain all in the right words! Everybody from us love the Caterhams and we have really no problems with English!!!! YOU UNDERSTAND? This thread - this discussion begins to trouble, as Fat Arnie start to make MOG Parts bad! And if Arnie make a good event for the Leukomea - my respect! Anyway I think, that Arnie shoot over the target! The stupieds of all have to accept that we live in a very peaceful Europe. You can sell to Germany and we to England. And the best price in combination with good quality make the deal! Free market in Europe! And if somebody belive, that we cannot work with Caterhams and with components. Sorry! Do not live on a lonely island. Me for my part buy the very most components in England and I have no problems with them. A lot of the English companies accept now the Euro so we have not the problems with paying. scooby dooby doo
Joachim - a few more questions - *arrowright*how heavy are they 🤔 actually how heavy are normal GRP and Caterham carbon noses (out of interest this one - by hand the difference in the caterham parts feels very noticeable - i'd just like some numbers) *arrowright*how much finishing is required to fit it to the car 🤔 The GRP nose needs quite a lot of fiddling. this would be much harder work with carbon ❗ HOOPY R706KGU See you at Cadwell
Joachim Westermann
Nose weight 1.8 kg, I don´t know the weight of a standard nose now or the Caterham Nose. Yes, you have some finishing to fit on the car, but carbon finishing is easy. Only kevlar is bad work! EFA
So "Never", Ross Brawn knows nothing about racing because he never raced??? Joachim, I do not race my car, it is personal choice. You charge VAT on your parts through your roofing company - this makes it commercial. FACT. I never said your parts are bad, I am just asserting the point that they are cheaper because they are not as good. Peter Carmichael is actually incorrect, The Carbon Component Company did make a profit, I chose to re-invest it rather than pay myslef a salary. When this happened, I recognised "gain" on the companies assets (moulds and PC's etc.) I'm off to start a new thread on the subject of the carbon rear wings I am having made. I would appreciate if if you would refrain from posting on that thread, particularly anything of a commmerical nature.
