Firstly, I am delighted to confirm that Gary May of Freestyle Motorsport has agreed to continue his sponsorship of our championship for next season

 

I have posted the provisional calendar below and whilst I do not expect this to change please be aware that the dates will not be finalised until later in the year.

Finally, many thanks for yesterday a day that will remain in my memory for a long time (well until I become a Saga Se7ener 😬), the kind words and generous gifts. I am already looking forward to next season and returning to the rank of competitor.

Glad your looking at doing some more next year, we'll have compare events we are doing as the Caterbram's are looking at doing a fair few. including Goodwood, so don't scare me too much.

Hoping to come a do a few next year due to my car finally being available. When will the championship regs be out so I can see if there were any class alternations or tech. changes as a consequence of the November forum ?

There are no changes to classes for 2010 and the regs will be published in February when the Speed Championship registration form will also be available.

Cool Its good to see that the class structure has settled down. So all the work put into getting it as fair as possible seems to have worked.

It was the shortest Tech Forum on record the majority of which was spent diccussing changes in the MSA Blue book. We will publish some guidance later the main things to be aware of are FIA gloves are mandatory, SNELL 2000 helmets can still be used and cars in in classes 1-5 must have a passenger seat and belts.

Can I ask what constitutes a passenger seat? I'm only intending to do a couple of events, but I only have a 2 part foam passenger seat (I sit on one of those, so SWMBO has to too!!!).
