Unclefester Posted November 9, 2009 Share Posted November 9, 2009 It's about a possible future in which humanity develops new abilities,after which we get inducted into 'a galactic Milieu' but it's very well written, compelling, and funny. Julian May (who is actually female) tied herself in knots trying to keep the storyline logical, as it deals with events in the Pleistocene period, as well as the future, and is highly complex. It goes into all sorts of interesting areas....was recommended to me by a friend who is currently studying the Llamas...the human type...in India. Dunno why I mentioned it here, just that I was re-reading it and got a bit carried away by my own enthusiasm. I might well fancy the post, but ONLY if I get to wear some truly absurd ceremonial costuming. Also, if I were to accept this great honour, I'd obviously need to attend certain gatherings of an International nature in order to spread the Sheddite Message.
