Paul McKenzie
I bought one of these here from the same ebayer. I thought it was a bit strange as I thought ZF's had not been manufactured for quite a few years, but I thought I'd risk it as the general opinion seems to be they are among the best. When the item arrived I reserched the company on the delivery note and it turns out it's Mitchell-Cotts Transmission ReMan who I guess are remanufacturing used parts. I'm very pleased with the price and service - just need to get it fitted now.
Rob Walker
Paul, Mitchell Cotts bought the rights to manufacture the plate diff from ZF about 2 years ago so it should be a new one. It has taken them so long to get into production if indeed they have that Titan and others now supply Caterham . ZF was a good product Rob

Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted November 15, 2009 Leadership Team Share Posted November 15, 2009 Paul, is the diff you've linked to effectively "Caterham ready" with the 30 deg ramps? Stu. Joint Area Representative MAD Sevens (Merseyside And District) www.superse7ens.co.uk..........the rebuild 😬
Paul McKenzie
Stu, Yep it has 30 degree ramps so "Caterham-ready" from that viewpoint, but I'll be getting the preload checked and, if necessary, reset to 38 ft/lbs. Paul
