Racing Elan parts for sale.

Someone has contacted me (from Holland and will be over in January) with...

 

I'm not a trader, dealer or whatsoever, I do race with elans for many years and do have a garage clear out.

 

I do have for sale

 

-26r chassis, used for two seasons, enamel stoved.

-1 complete set of 26r front shock dampers for racing purpose, specially fabricated by Tony Thompson, used for 1 season.

-1complete set of 26 r rear wishbones (racing) incl steel/nylon bushes

-1 complete set of 26r rear dampers Koni, specially made (racing or trackday) for Tony Thompson and dyno tested.

-1 set of 26r front brake discs, used 4 races

-1 complete set of upper and lower 26r wishbones, doglegs, for one only side of the car ( non adjustable) incl steel/nylon bushes

-3 magnesium 26r 6x13 rims, very good condition, knock ons.

 

-1 racing fuel tank, plastic 35 ltrs, foam filled, FIA Legal, no expiry dates or whatsoever required for this type, no bag required, incl little bracket to mount in the elan boot.

-1 pair of Weber 45 carbs, matching pair from lotus twin cam racing jets included (meaning two complete carbs)

 

-1 twin cam racing cylinder head, ported etc. incl cams, sprockets, valves, guides, seats, etc. completely assembled, checked and pressure tested, prepared for racing, the two camshaft are from the well know George Wadsworth, Racing Fabrications including all set up figures, cam timings to built a proper racing engine. (of course this is a Weber head) clear no painted but can be delivered painted in the proper original lotus grey

 

-1 twin cam head ported for serious racing, cleaned and checked, no valves nor cams, including seats and guides (of course this is a Weber head) clear no painted but can be delivered painted in the proper original lotus grey

 

-1 26R propshaft used half a season

 

-1 Original gearbox for lotus elan S1-S4 incl. steel tale.

 

-1 Standard clutch fork and slave cylinder

 

-2 complete rear struts for racing, incl dampers and adjustable platforms, no drive shafts.

 

-1 lightweight, wide arch body, yellow, needs a repaint, including 4 liters of proper 2K car paint yellow exact same paint as used for the body previously, note there is some front damage on the body but repairable,

reinforced carbon/Kevlar/epoxy bottom.

 

-2 complete ignitions one with magnecor leads, one without leads, both incl. spare points and rotor, curve and springs set up for proper twin cams. One ignition brand new from TTR never used.

 

-1 used 26r TTR airbox.

-1 used 26r TTR throttle linkage system for Weber, incl. spring

-2 perspex side windows from TTR, slightly used

 

-1 711 engine block (for Ford Escort not suitable for an elan) including main bearing caps, never bored all original, good condition.

 

-1 original lotus elan S1-S4, righthand pedalbox, good condition
