Solution for sticking throttle.

I went out in the Seven today and found the throttle was sticking.

I stripped the cable but this was free, the return spring was strong, this left the pedal itself.

I found that because there is no cover on my pedal assembly, rain water has run down the pedal and caused the pivot bust to rust.

All is now cleaned and greased so it works properly again.

My next project is to make a little rain proof cover for the pedal box.

I Hope this info saves someone else the trouble I suffered this morning.

Greg.

Earlier models had a different pedal arrangement with no cover. I assume Greg's car is one of these. *thumbup*
