guilleracing
I went out in the Seven today and found the throttle was sticking. I stripped the cable but this was free, the return spring was strong, this left the pedal itself. I found that because there is no cover on my pedal assembly, rain water has run down the pedal and caused the pivot bust to rust. All is now cleaned and greased so it works properly again. My next project is to make a little rain proof cover for the pedal box. I Hope this info saves someone else the trouble I suffered this morning. Greg. simonpa
Why have you no cover on the pedal box? I have a spare SV one, if you need one? Not sure why I have it, but it's yours for an NtL donation :) Cheers - Simon
Area Representative Paul Richards Posted October 18, 2009 Area Representative Share Posted October 18, 2009 Simon Earlier models had a different pedal arrangement with no cover. I assume Greg's car is one of these. Paul Richards Area Representative - L.A.D.S. guilleracing
Cheers for the offer, My chassis is very different from the newer cars, I will just have to get creative and make something individual. Greg.
