Hi Taffy

 

I did post on your earlier thread asking about some instalation pictures.

 

I may be that you have the newer type of QED throttle bodies that sit lower, or you may have to simply make a new blackplate that moves the airbox to a suitable position.

 

I'm happy to have a look at it for you if you wish - before you sella decent airbox off *smile*.

lets take a look at the setup and the solution may be simple - I have a variety of backplates and patterns in the garage. It would surprise me if the airbox didnt fit with the correct backplate position relative to the trumpets.

 

arrange to call up one evening if you like *smile*

To fit mine I had to raise one side of the engine a bit, I think there are 2 different right hand engine mounts - the lower one is for the VVC plenum (so it doesn't touch the bonnet) and with this one the airbox doesn't clear the chassis rail and clutch cable too well, so mine is jacked up on some washers to give the clearance.
