Simon.Rogers1
Most camp. Can be a bit chilly sometimes though. However if your the Comp/Gen Sec you generally Lord it at s posh B&B 😬 There is pup (can not remember the name) about 3 miles down the road that most of us meet at for a meal the night before. Lat food orders 9pm. Sometimes it gets foggy in the evening and you have to watch out for late breaking Merc Estates with no trailer going quite fast. This is particularly relevant when your towing a trailer with 7 on board when in a van following the tail lights. 😔 Yes thats how foggy it was when the said regular competitor missed his breaking point for a left turn. I had to choose the straight on route Clive and Kevin will be there next weekend but I shan't (I wonder why)! Oh and don't worry that Merc won't be either
Adrian Williams
You were driving the Disco at the time, it must have been realy foggy not to have realised that. Adrian
Simon.Rogers1
Thats why it took so long to stop. It was the extra 1 1/2 tonne. Its was so long ago my mind is awash with other Wiscombe moments 😔
FlymoFraser
Aero Lots of camping, I know one competitor who slept in his car..... ...said it was the worst night he'd ever had 😬 Still, didn't seem to affect his driving the next day 😳 One issue that you do get if it's v wet is that they don't let tow cars down to the main paddock (unless its a 4X4), trust me, it's a lot harder to walk up the hill to get something from the tow car than to drive up!
