All the championships are hoptting up, with some settled and some probably going down to the wire with 4 rounds still to go

Class standings

Class 1 Battle for 1st place is probably between Alistair Gibbins and Andrew Willoughby but don't discount Nick Chan who has shown he is capabable of winning events.

Class 2 Richard Price looks to have a healthy lead but don't discount Matt Jenkins

Class 3 Mike Sanky is the class 3 Champion, but 2nd and 3rd place look to be a battle between Malcolm Hickey and Jeff Smith

Class 4 Mark Durrant is the class 4 Champion as even if Chris Howard Harris wins all the remaining 4 rounds he would loose out on count back, and Chris will be looking over his shoulder at Martin Sargeant

Class 5 Simon Rogers is the class 5 Champion as Adrian Williams is not competing at Wiscombe and will be unable to match Simons scores

Class 6 For Gavin Craig is the class 6 Champion as he cannot be caught with 4 rounds to go

Overall Champion

As Mike Sankey has already got 8 wins it means that only a few other competitors can stop him being the overall champion Mark Durrant (7 Wins), Simon Rogers (7 Wins), Richard Price (6 Wins), Andrew Willoughby (4 Wins) and Gavin Craig (4 Wins). If we have multiple people on 8 wins we go into a decider based upon scores against class records for 5 nominated events this year. And then it will be complicated...

Ladies Championship

As ever one of the more closely contested areas with Lynn Gilbert currently holding top spot but with challengers from both Suzzanne Gibson and Judith Hickey there is all to play for. The ladies get faster and faster and Lynn (469.61) has already beaten lat years winner and record holder Tamara Calverts 469.06 record mark.

Novice Championship

Nick Chan looks like he has this one in the bag unless someone does something special int he final few events.

As always errors and omissions to me
