Dry Sumps

dry sumps are needed when you are cornering enough to slosh the oil away from where its needed. so its more a case of how sticky are your tyres rather than how much power you have.

 

That being said a higher spec engine will probably eat itself quicker if its not getting enough oil and will certainly cost more to repair!
