There are now two small splits in the nose cone My car is anniversary green with a yellow stripe. Caterham have stated that they need the car to match the stripe to the nose This means a long trek from Brum and two long train journeys as I have to leave the car with them. Caterham want 200 quid (plus VAT) to supply the nose and finish it painted I still have to swap over the Dzus fasteners,number plate,badge and grill. It gets worse because the nut securing the badge recently worked loose and I refitted the nut with superglue!! Can some kind person advise:- -Is there anyone in the Midlands that could be recommended to repair the nose. -I understand the green is Jaguar racing green. From what year and is there a reference or close match. -The yellow stripe looks like a decal of some sort. Is there a match in paint available. Admittedly getting a train from Leicester to Birmingham may be a problem but you might be able to enouge someone to follow you and drive you back.
