Peter Carmichael Posted September 12, 2000 Share Posted September 12, 2000 Top tip: don't stick a tube in your mouth and suck... I did and I've not been the same since. Probably easiest to siphon into an intermediate container rather than juggle the relative heights of the cars. With a long length of hose, feed it into the 'from' fuel tank so that the excess length coils up on the bottom of the tank then, holding your finger over the end draw the tube out - it will be full of fuel. Lower it towards the intermediate container, looping the hose if necessary to make sure that the fuel-filled portion gets low down and then remove finger to start siphon... (All of this written on the supposition that you can't afford the petrol to go out and buy a little siphon pump thing.) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
