Normans_Ghost
Yes, but only by banging it hard. No. 1 son sent a keyboard over but it doesn't work! So I've ordered a new machine. Bit drastic way to get a new k/board but something a bit faster wont do any harm. Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted August 28, 2009 Area Representative Share Posted August 28, 2009 Norman Thumping it hard always used to work for old TVs, why should it not work for your keyboard? Normans_Ghost
Maybe because it's not a TV. I don't know how old this keyboard is but it has our system function keys stickers on it and we haven't used them for the past 6 years. I guess if I took all the keycaps off and clened all the switches with switch cleanre (well, what else) they would work better. No, better to buy a new machine - much easier. Unclefester
Thank you LLentil and all for your kind concern for my state of hirsute completeness. I have to say that, but for the usual depradations of that mystery phenomenon known to us mortals as 'time', I'm more or less in full if not exactly 'tip-top' working order.....apart from some residual psychological scarring.....my therapist reckons another 20-25,000 euros should se me 'cured'!!!
